Midline is an imaginary line that runs down the center of our body from the top of our head to our toes dividing our body into two equal parts. Many of our movements during the day require us to cross this imaginary line. In last week’s video and blog post, we discussed why midline and the ability to cross it is so important for kids.
This week, I have some short 5 minute workouts that focus on crossing this imaginary line. Each of these workouts consists of 5 exercises performed for 50 seconds followed by a 10 second rest. Workout 1 is done in the seats position, while workouts 2 and 3 are done in standing. Workout 3 is a bit more challenging than workout 2. The time code for each workout is listed in the video description box.
I hope you have a great time with these workouts!
