Welcome to Pediatric Therapy Essentials!

Hello and Welcome!

I am sooo glad you are here! Like many of you reading this, how I do my job has changed significantly over the past few months due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. I went from a full time school based physical therapist working hands on with kids 5 days a week to working at my computer all day. Instead of helping kids with my hands, I suddenly had to figure out how to accomplish the same things with my words, pictures, and videos. I don’t know about you, but for me it was quite a challenge. 

However, over the course of a few weeks, I realized that I really enjoyed creating this type of content. It was a new challenge that lit me up inside. So, I decided to find a way to keep doing it and offer my content to more people than the amazing families I work with every day. And so….. Pediatric Therapy Essentials, LLC was born! 

My goal for this website is to provide therapists (PTs, OTs, SLPs), teachers, and parents with resources and information that can improve the lives and independence of children with special needs. My goal is to Empower You to make a positive change in a child’s life.
